Consumer Credit Education Programs
The District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA) has provided individual credit and budget counseling along with its housing counseling assistance since 1992. The Home Resource Center, a flagship component of the DCHFA's homeownership education and counseling activities, conducts free monthly Homebuyer Education Workshops. In an effort to provide as much assistance as possible to its clients, the Home Resource Center works in partnership with a variety of HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agencies throughout the District of Columbia.
